Dear Paul,
When I applied your writing and organizational methods to the February bar exam, I got a passing grade because your system and constant support gave me the substantive knowledge, writing ability, and confidence I needed to succeed.
Your study system and time management tools made all the difference in my learning and retaining the substantive law, so that I was prepared to answer any question the examiners threw my way. The writing methods, organizational tips, and self-evaludation guidelines for the essay and performance portions of the exam were invaluable. I know they were the key to my passing grade this second time around. The feedback and encouragement in class and via telephone before and during the bar, helped me gain the confidence I needed to get mad at the exam and fight my way to success!
Upon hearing the good news, I began my quest to find a "dream job." It turned out my having to take the bar a second time was a blessing in disguise. The extra time allowed me to sit back and figure out what I REALLY wanted to do with my career. So many of my law school friends are miserable because they accepted positions out of desperation in areas of law they had no interest in. It has been a long and difficult road, but I was able to avoid this.
Ater almost three months, I got an offer from the Marin County District Attorney's Office. Next week I have second interviews scheduled with the Riverside District Attorney's office and an Orange County firm that focuses on the representation of children. I am fairly confident I will receive offers from both places, so a big decision is on my horizon.
In closing, I really want to thank you for helping me "put this thing behind me." Please feel free to add my name to your long and impressive recommendation list. I will keep you posted and let you know where I end up!
Sincerely,
Vanessa M. Christopher
p.s. Enclosed is the BARBRI book you lent me. I had to get it out of my storage unit, so I am sorry for the delay in returning it to you.

More Success For Ali
Cal Bar is pleased to announce that Ali Hinsche continued her remarkable run of success in having just passed the Florida bar exam.
This was her 4th (count 'em: 1, 2, 3, 4) successful bar - on her 1st attempt-following California, New York and Illinois.
While Ali worked with Cal Bar for each state, she also owes her success to persistence, hard work, and in learning how to adapt and apply the Cal Bar test-taking systems to the requirements of each bar exam.
