This is a California-only program enabling qualified students to undertake a 4-year curriculum as a non-traditional law student leading to licensure. At the conclusion of the first year, students must take and pass the Baby Bar Exam. This includes 100 multiple-choice questions based on general principles of Criminal Law, Torts, and Contracts. An applicant must take the Baby Bar when they first become eligible – and then pass it within at least 3 attempts. If the applicant fails after 3 attempts, the applicant must retake the first-year curriculum. At the conclusion of the LOSP curriculum, applicants may petition to take the NextGen/UBE.

I specialize in creating the LOSP curriculum for applicants qualifying to become a LOSP candidate. In addition, to then work with each LOSP applicant to pass the California Baby Bar and then the California General Bar Exam. Note that LOSP applicants are limited to applying for licensure in California – not other jurisdictions.

The subject matter curriculum for LOSP candidates will include at least those subjects on the NextGen/UBE format.
